Since 2011 I have worked on loads of youth and community video projects passing on some of my filmmaking experience. Mostly I delivered dozens of fun, engaging and educational film making workshops for young people. I have ran half day classroom workshops to week long residential courses, on my own and as part of a team. These workshops and courses have taken place all over the UK and the resulting content included documentaries and short films. There were very positive results for the kids who took part and great feedback from parents and teachers. Consequently I have tons of experience devising and running film-making workshops for private education companies, community charities, local councils, youth clubs and the YMCA.
This led me into Youth Work in 2017 where I got further experience working with vulnerable young people. In addition I have also developed a strong understanding of community and social care issues in deprived areas. Finally, I have a current DBS plus Equality & Diversity and First Aid training.
Below are two examples of charity video projects involving young people that I worked on.
